2023 Legislature Session

The 82nd (2023) Session of the Nevada Legislature began on February 6, 2023.  The Carson City Republican Party is committed to bringing you information good and bad legislation.

You can also follow the Nevada Legislature YouTube channel which will provide individual live streaming links for both the Assembly and Senate's committee and floor hearings.  More information on how to send public comment and what bills are being heard will be forthcoming.

You can find your federal and state representative using the interactie map.  By clicking on the individual members name, you will also find contact information, career and personal achievements, and the committees that member serves on. We will provide more information on contacting representative and ALERTS.

The Nevada Policy Research Institute (NPRI) has released their bill tracker which provides a rating on proposed legislation. While there are only a few dozen currently rated, the majority are BAD BILLS. You can view their tracker here.  A few of the bills that are currently rated as bad bills include expanding taxes, detrimental education bills, enacting "California like" car emission standards, and more. And this is only the beginning...
