Friday night, the Carson City Republican Party and P.K. O'Neill held a Prayer Vigil for Charlie Kirk at the amphitheater on the Nevada State legislative grounds. The Vigil was beautiful; it was a community gathering to celebrate Charlie's life and legacy. The atmosphere was filled with love and unity as participants reflected on Charlie's influence and the values he cherished: his Christian Faith, his role as
a husband and father, and his love for America. The collective spirit of the Vigil helped foster a deep sense of love for our country and the need to carry on Charlie's mission. Three of our local pastors — Pat Propster from Calvary Chapel, Greg Meyer from Wells Church, and Gerry Leist from Dayton Calvary — led us in prayer and reflection, which deepened our understanding of Charlie's life's commitments. His faith in God always came first, his good works demonstrated that he was a true American
Patriot and he has now become a faithful martyr. The event was truly blessed and based on the biblical principles that were the guiding light for Charlie Kirk's life. As he stated, "I want to be remembered for courage for my faith"
What is next? We must make sure that we continue Charlie's mission and stand with his fantastic wife, now CEO of Turning Point, Erika Kirk. Erika has already demonstrated that she will be a fierce lioness, a role model for all young women throughout the world. We saw
approximately 500 of you on Friday night at the Vigil. You all said you would be a force to carry on Charlie's mission. Please be that force; determine how you and your family will actively work to turn things around. We welcome you to join forces with the CCRP. The Carson City Republican Party needs volunteers. You may also volunteer with Turning Point USA or Turning Point Action. In a few weeks, we will be holding a meeting with our Northern Nevada Turning Point Representatives. We will have a TPA representative from each division, Turning Point USA, and Turning Point Action. We will also be carrying Charlie Shirts for women and men at the CCRP headquarters, 1971 California Street. To help you understand, Turning Point has two divisions. Charlie first started Turning Point USA, the organization he originally founded. This segment is the groundwork on College Campuses. Charlie, with his brilliant mind, realized that we needed a solid foundation for the groundwork of Getting Out the Vote, which led to the creation of Turn Point Action (TPA). What is essential to understand is that the Carson City Republican Party works intimately with TPA and is trying to be involved with the local college campus. We are working rigorously, assisting the Carson City Turning Point Action Faith Coalition. Why are we? Do you realize that only about 55% of people of faith are registered voters, and only about 35% actually vote? If you took one of our Constitution Classes, you would now understand that our Constitution is based on biblical principles. We need the people of all dominations to register to vote and vote. Then we need to vote for our principles; that is what Charlie Kirk believed. We must continue to carry the torch; we must continue Charlie Kirk's legacy. As our fearless President Trump states, "We fight, fight, fight." Stay tuned, and we will announce when we can put a meeting together in the next few weeks with our local Turning Point Representatives. When we hold our meeting, please come out and discover how you can get involved with the Carson City Republican Party and Turning Point Action. The 2026 Election is even more critical than the 2024 election. #PledgeToVote2026
Last week, we had a Meet and Greet with Governor Lombardo at the Casino Fandango. For those of you who came, it was a very special evening. The Fandango put together an extraordinary meeting and donated excellent food and cocktails for those who attended. The Casino is very supportive of us, and I can't say thank you enough to Vic, who puts it all together. The Governor's message to all of us was direct, conveying the importance of his mission priorities: education, fair elections, keeping boys out of girls' sports, and the economy.
Governor Lombardo is placing a voter initiative on the ballot in 2026 to keep boys out of girls' sports. If we pass this twice in 2026 and 2028, it will be part of the Constitution and would be very difficult to overturn. We must get out and re-elect Joe Lombardo, if we don’t, we will most likely have Arron Ford as our Governor. Ask yourself, "Did you like Steve Sisolak?" Arron Ford is Steve Sisolak on steroids. Do you want to be a Sanctuary State or have boys in girls' sports? Elections have consequences, and if we do not re-elect Joe Lombardo, this is what will happen to our state. Every Republican must vote in 2026. The CCRP Board voted proudly to pre-endorse Joe Lombardo. #IPledgeToVote in the 2026 election. I know I can count on you to vote because we are all in this together.

General Membership Meeting, September 25, 2025, Casino Fandango, Craft 55 Room, 3800 S. Carson Street. Doors open at 6:30 and are open to the public. This month, we have two important Speakers: Kit Waite from Turning Point Action, to give us an update on the ins and outs of TPA, and Sheriff Kenny Furlong to discuss Carson City. We will have a question-and-answer period. Be sure to join us to stay informed. We look forward to seeing you there.
First Friday: October 3, will be held at Nashville Social Club, 1105 Carson Street, from 6 to 8 PM. Come and join us to make new friends and have lively conversations. We will have complimentary appetizers for you.
Move Night, October 9, Thursday. We invite 20 people to attend our screening of 'The 1916 Project' at the Carson City Republican Party Headquarters, 1971 California Street, Carson City. This documentary explains the path of Planned Parenthood to the Nazis and the Democratic Party. It is a very well-reviewed (7.7 on IMDB) documentary movie you will not want to miss. We will include Pizza, Salad, cookies, and a choice of wine and other drinks. Doors will open at 5:30 with the movie starting at 6 PM. We are asking for a $10 Donation.
The CCRP annual Christmas Party will be on December 6, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM at the Governor's Mansion. We will be serving our delicious Beef Wellington, Bill Whorton will entertain us with his music, and we will have a visit from Santa Claus. The cost this year will be $80 per person. We kindly ask that you bring an unwrapped toy for the Dream Center and a pair of new socks.
Fundraising: We need your Help. We operate on donations only and do not have any paid staff; we are all patriotic volunteers. We are fundraising to help win the 2026 election. We won the 2024 election, and now we must win the 2026 election. How do we use our funds? We assist candidates by hosting town hall meetings, conducting door-to-door outreach with literature and data to help you make your decisions, and providing our highest level of service through personalized mailings to you, featuring recommended candidates for all Republican voters. Therefore, we are greatly appreciative of all donations. Your donations keep our lights on and allow us to advance our Republican Conservative Values.
