Paul's Weekly Update
Well, it's official; we assigned all of our 25 delegates to Donald J Trump. The vote was unanimous, loud and boisterous. We also did some official business, approved the budget, heard Brad Pascal talk (the President's campaign manager). We also heard that Lee Hoffman will not be running for State Committeeman next cycle, and Jim Degraffenreid from Douglas will be running for the seat. Obviously, this will leave the State Vice Chairman seat open. More to follow......
The Democrats appeared to have some problems with their caucus, perhaps more than we heard because the volunteers had to sign non-disclosure agreements. Anyway, they had 105,000 votes, of which around 30,000 were early voting. For comparison we had around 77,000 at our last caucus. So please keep this information on the back burner as we look forward to 2024.
We have a lot of seats around town for which we still do not have candidates. Please consider and give us a call to see what we can do to help.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the membership meeting Thursday night, chatting about campaigns, and discussing who is running for the various seats.
