The Legislative session is just about to end and they are pushing through all kinds of nonsense. Please make your voice heard on these and anything else that is important to you.

Thursday: We need people to testify in opposition to bill AB597; Open Primaries, which we defeated this in the 2024 election. It was part of Question #3. They brought it back again. It was scheduled for the Legislation and Operations Committee at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, but the Democrats have changed it to a joint Senate and Assembly hearing Thursday at 4 p.m. They can move bills through much faster this way; they are running out of town. If you cannot attend, please call in and write your opposition on the NELIS website (AB597). Also please write Governor Lombardo and ask him to VETO the bill.

You can write opposition comments in the opinion section of these bills in NELIS on the Nevada Legislative Website.  For Governor Lombardo, copy and paste in the browser: https://gov.nv.gov/Forms/Share/

AB328: Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) to spend $1,189,936 (FY25-27) to study slavery in Nevada with recommended reparations. Please write to the Governor and add comments opposing on NELIS website (AB328) (Nevada Legislature). Irony is that the Slaves escaped to Nevada, and Nevadans did not enslave people.  Once more, our Democrat legislature does not know our history.

SB156 creates an Ombudsman ostensibly to prevent Gun Violence in the AG’s Office (Aaron Ford). This is an infringement of our gun rights and creates an unaccountable bureaucracy.  We must not allow some bureaucrat to infringe on our 2nd Amendment Rights.  Write to the Governor and add comments on the NELIS website (SB156), Nevada Legislature.

We need Governor Lombardo to veto these bills; he is listening to us. https://gov.nv.gov/Forms/Share/

Thank you for your help with our Democratic legislation in these daunting times. It is time for many of these people to be removed from their positions. Elections matter from the bottom up.  We must all vote in 2026!
