Weekly Update August 28, 2019

Wow! Big meeting last Thursday; we had over 90 people present.  Many thanks to Richard and Bepsey for arranging speakers, and to Scott and Karen for advertising.  Both Senator Kieckhefer and Assemblyman Al Kramer were there as well as Supervisor Lori Bagwell.  The blockchain speakers could have talked for another hour.  Speaking of time, we are discussing adding more speaker time, less social time or longer meeting. As always let us know your opinion; it helps us make better decisions.   At the next meeting Professor Bob Morin from Western Nevada College will be speaking on Socialism: Myths and Facts.  This should really be informative and interesting.

There is a big state meeting coming up over the weekend of 9/6-9/7.  As we discussed at the membership meeting, the elections and caucus are the major topics.  Please let our state committeeman know your opinions.   The end of summer is coming fast, which means that we will be moving full speed ahead on 2020 election.  Please be prepared to help, however you can.
