President Trump has more energy than any other President I have ever seen. Remember when he said," Are you tired of winning?" Every day of every week, President Trump is winning for the American People.
I believe most Americans were awestruck by how Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, & Qatar received our President. It was the most beautiful, with the Arabian horses flanking the beast (the car he travels in).
The Saudis treated President Trump with the ultimate respect of a great leader as did the UAE and Qatar. All three countries demonstrated that they respect the USA and finally have a US President that earns their respect.
If you did not have the opportunity to watch all of the fanfare of the incredible trip to the Middle East, this link gives you a quick overview of how our President is respected on the world stage. https://youtu.be/oIk47YstdRc?si=ghffX5iRfKmRobI5 and by all means listen to his speech in Saudi Arabia (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oab4Gzt5tqA).
Last week was another winning week for Americans. The stock market was way up again as President Trump brought China to an agreement on the trade war. Yes, it is a temporary agreement, but as the rest of the world is coming to agreements on the tariffs, China will be forced into an agreement on a final deal.
We brought home the last American hostage held by Hamas in Palestine. ICE arrested 1,000 illegal immigrants in Florida in an operation called Tidal Wave. What does everyone think about reopening Alcatraz since the Judicial Branch wants to try and stop us from deporting illegals? I think if we reopen Alcatraz, many people will self-deport.
There are numerous victories, too many to mention, so I am including another link for the list of achievements our President has accomplished in just a week. Just think what could be achieved if those rogue judges would get out of the way. Last Friday was manic Friday as the Democrats worked through the day and night to get all their Democratic bills out of their committees by Friday midnight. I say the Democratic bills because they allowed very few Republican bills even to have a hearing.
Whether you're a D or an R, you must ask yourself if they are working for their agenda or the People. You cannot tell me that Republicans had many good bills that would have benefited all people of Nevada.
AB240 and Senate companion bill SB112; restricting men in girls' sports, thanks to the Democrats, did not get a hearing in either the Senate or Assembly, even though the population does not want men in girls' sports.
AB 278

Another bill passed out of the Senate Government Affairs Committee on Friday night was the unconstitutional AB278, the Muslim Heritage Month of July. Once more, the public had voiced their opinions (94% oppose), and the Democrats did not care about the public's opinion.
Now AB 278 will go before the Nevada Senate. We must contact the Nevada senators and ask them to vote NO on AB278. With this bill, we can ask Governor Lombardo to veto it. Please get in touch with Governor Lombardo at:https://gov.nv.gov/Contact/Contact/ - Nevada.
Please stay tuned; this week, all the news will be released on which bills were voted out of the Legislature Committees. We will also have an indication of which ones will land on Governor Lombardo's desk and which ones he needs to VETO.
Elections have consequences. Election is the rule. There is no sitting out the next election in 2026; we must get control of the Nevada State Legislature. we need you. #IPromiseToVote!

This class is held every Monday for the next 9 weeks; you are not obliged to attend every class.
Rib Fest at the Casino Fandango from May 23 to May 26. We could still use volunteers if you would like to spend a few fun hours promoting CCRP and sharing vital information. We always have a good time.
Please call the office to sign up to assist with the 3-hour shifts. If you are at the Rib Fest, stop by our booth.
Yeah, it feels like summer!

Fund Raising for Out Reach. It is that time of year when we are gearing up for the 2026 election. We have taken on several projects to reach out to voters. Our immediate goal is to expand Outreach to New Republicans. We want to make sure they are excited and engaged for 2026. We need additional funds for mailings and small items with our logo imprinted. These new Republicans are essential for victory in 2026.
We would appreciate donations towards our goal of $1,500, as this is important for the 2026 election. Checks can be made out to the CCRP and mailed to Carson City Republican Party, 1971 California Street, Carson City, NV 89701. You can also make donations on our website, with the donate button, or at our office. Please indicate that the check is for “Outreach”.
Thank you very much in advance for your donations. You are the reason we were so successful in 2024. We must all turn out to continue our movement, saving America.
www.carsoncityrepublicans.com. Our website is all things Republican Party. You will find National, State, and local information on our site. Also, you will find information about the current legislation and up-and-coming events.
You can sign up to volunteer on our website. One suggestion is that if you do not know exactly what you would like to do, a good starting point is to volunteer in the office for 3 hours a week. By doing this, you will find your mission, and we all started there. And as our new 2nd Vice Chair Elysse Johnston says, "And we are FUN!”

(You can hear Governor Lombardo's speech at our Lincoln Day Dinner) Our Governor explains the legislature, which is very interesting and important.
God Bless America, Nevada, Carson City, and you.
Susan Ruch, your Chairman.
Cheers. Here's to "America, the Golden Age."
